In July, Year 5 had an exciting trip to the River Thames as part of their science and geography studies. During the visit, the children explored the river environment, observed the types of animals that live in and around the water, and made careful notes about the river’s features. They learned how to identify common river wildlife and discussed how the river supports a variety of ecosystems. It was a bit muddy and everyone ended up getting a little wet, but that only added to the adventure! The students had a fantastic time, and it was a hands-on, engaging experience that brought their classroom learning to life.
