Designed entirely to support our busy working parents, the Elmwood After School Club offers a vibrant, safe, and engaging environment for children at the end of the school day. Led by Miss Adou & Mr Iuele and a dedicated team of familiar support staff from both Elmwood Infants & Junior schools, your child will enjoy structured activities, social time, and reliable care up until 18:00 daily.

If your child attends Elmwood Juniors you can book your place via the ‘After School Club’ section on MCAS. If your child is in Reception to Year 2 and attends Elmwood Infant School, please fill out our quick expressions of interest form. Once received, our school office team will reach out directly to finalise your enrolment.

- • Daily Capacity: Spaces are strictly limited to 30 children per day. Bookings are secured on a first-come, first-served basis once payment is complete.
- • Booking Deadlines: Standard bookings must be made via the MCAS portal at least 24 hours in advance.
- • Emergency Same-Day Bookings: Same-day spaces cannot be guaranteed. If you have an urgent emergency, you must call the school office on 020 8684 4007 before midday.
- • Collection Contact: When collecting your child please call 07495680525 and a member of staff will bring them to the school date. This number is for collections only any queries should be directed to the school office or e-mail address.
- • Collection Policy: Please collect your child safely from the Elmwood Juniors Main Gate. Prompt pick-up by 18:00 is essential; late collections will incur a surcharge of £1 per minute.

Elmwood Junior School is registered on the government’s Tax-Free Childcare portal. You get a 20% top-up on whatever you pay. Just search for us as an approved provider inside your account dashboard.

How to Book Sessions on MCAS
Follow our quick guide below to log on, choose your dates, and secure your child’s place inside the app or portal.
Enrol for the After School Club
Log into your MyChildAtSchool (MCAS) platform. Navigate to the ‘After School Club’ page layout and click on ‘Available Clubs’ to complete your child’s core enrolment.
*Note: This step unlocks your access, but you still need to select specific dates to book!
Open Wraparound Care Calendars
Once enrolled, the tab will reposition neatly into your ‘Wraparound Care Clubs’ section. Click directly onto the club title row to generate the dynamic calendar booking grid.
Select Your Specific Attendance Dates
Simply tick the checkboxes for the dates you need.
🔵 Blue Dates: Spaces available to book.
🔴 Red Dates: Fully booked.
🟢 Green Dates: Your active, confirmed bookings.
Checkout and Finalize Payment
Click checkout to pay instantly via debit card.
💡 Using Childcare Vouchers or Tax-Free Childcare? Please complete your transfer on your provider’s portal first, then forward a screenshot of your payment confirmation directly to asc@elmwood-jun.croydon.sch.uk. Our finance team will immediately credit your MCAS account balance so you can select and book your dates.
